Two dead, one seriously injured in the wreckage of western Minnesota

Lake Lillian, MN (KROC-AM News) – Two people were killed and another was seriously injured after a crash in Kandiyohi County on Saturday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol accident report indicates that a Ford Edge was traveling west on Highway 7 and a GMC Yukon was traveling south on Southeast 195th Street when the two vehicles collided at the intersection around 4:30 p.m.

The Yukon driver, identified as Jacob Dahlheimer, 35, of Faribault, died in the crash. The State Patrol accident report indicates that Dahlheimer was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The driver of the Edge was also killed in the crash. He has been identified as August Faber, 86, of Lake Lillian, Minnesota. The accident report indicates that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the sinking. An Edge passenger was injured in the crash. She has been identified as Gertrude Faber, 83, also from Lake Lillian. She was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
