North Dakota and Minnesota – This is Sturgis’ music lineup

KISS won’t actually be at Sturgis 2022.

But the band Hair ball will surely kopykat a lot of KISS on their 3 night run in Sturgis. Hairball (photo) is just one of many great variety of music you’ll hear roar around the Black Hills of South Dakota August 5-14.

The “grandfather of all” turns 82.

Presence of the 2015 Sturgis Rally was estimated at nearly 739,000 people. Many come to meet the global motorcycling community and many come simply for the music. From August 5 to 14, more than half a million people are expected to attend at least part of the rally.

Unfortunately, Snoop Dogg will not be part of it.

Snoop was supposed to be a major headliner at Sturgis 2022 until he decided he wasn’t coming. It’s no small feat for Sturgis, Snoop has canceled numerous tour dates, including a major trek across Europe. The good news is that Ice-T and the Art of Rap lineup have snuck into Snoop’s slot.

Make sure you don’t miss the scenic routes when you are in the hills.

It’s surprising how many locals haven’t experienced the physical beauty of South Dakota’s Black Hills. Admittedly, trying to take in all the awesome nature is probably a little tricky when you’re surrounded by half a million people.

Let’s see who will take the stage in 2022!

I’ve compiled a daily list of major artists performing during the rally, but remember there’s a lot more music bouncing around the Black Hills throughout the event. So keep your eyes and ears open and enjoy what these artists share.
