Montana senator talks inflation, ‘Bare Shelves Biden’

Montana Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) joined us live on the radio right after the latest bad inflation news aired. We saw another 7% jump in the latest numbers, reaching a 40-year high.

Senator Daines: This is the worst inflation we have seen in 40 years – a 40 year high. The problem with inflation is a tax. It’s a tax on every family in Montana and those who can least afford it feel the most in terms of a dwindling paycheck – whether it’s the elderly, hard-working Montanans – they are the most affected.

Shortly before our interview, Daines referenced an interview he did with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business where they talked about the trending hashtag #BareShelvesBiden.

Senator Daines: One of the most popular hashtags on Twitter yesterday was #BareShelvesBiden, and we’re starting to see it. We are starting to see images emerge across this land of empty grocery shelves. So that’s the consequences again. We know that’s when the government gets big when it goes to the extreme left, when you start putting tyrants in power. Whether it’s the United States or far-left countries around the world, this translates into lower living standards, higher prices, inflation, and ultimately empty shelves.

We also spoke with Sen. Daines about the federal election takeover bill pushed by Biden and congressional Democrats like Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT). Breitbart News highlighted its concerns in this report. You can also listen to our conversation with Senator Daines below:
